Kenya
20 Master Trainers were trained from 5 regions of Northern Kenya. Each regional group made a strategic plan for how they would train 100 more community trainers. 500 Dignity kits were provided as trainer tools. Participants of their sessions brought used t-shirts to replicate our Dignity kits. 300 Training Tapestries aided our trainers to sensitize 9000+ People in over 30 Communties

Iraq
33 trainings took place amongst various schools, communities and refugee camps. 780 girls were trained and 1450 kits distributed. Many took an additional kit with which to train others. Our large training tapestries were produced in Arabic and Kurdish, and several thousand copies of our reproducible booklet on menstrual health management were also provided to participants.

Uganda
35 of our large format Training Tapestries were distributed amongst nine local community led organizations across Uganda. Each of these organizations are already actively working in menstrual health and sustainable ways to manage dignity. We are exploring together how to bring a container load of pre-cut dignity kit components to multiply their efforts and boost their momentum.

Egypt
Egypt has always been our main source of production for dignity kits. In the past, we have simply purchased these from factories. This year we reaped benefits from building strong local partnerships with Egyptian organizations who focus on vulnerable communities. By collaborating with private sector businesses and local charities aimed at upcycling fabric excess of large local garment manufacturers, powerful multiplication of efforts is gaining significant momentum. We are in process of completing additional Arabic training resources, including a comic book and video short that can be shared on social media throughout the Middle East.
